Thank you, Jim. As always an excellent and fun to read analysis.

Pardon this long excerpt, but I believe that this is one of the keys:

"But don’t look now. Duke is the second-best rushing team in the ACC and left tackle Graham Barton said the offensive line is reveling in its ability to move the ball on the ground, especially long drives.

“We embrace that. That’s what’s fun for offensive linemen.”

Barton echoed Pickett by saying the offensive line needed to concentrate on what it does.

“I wouldn’t say we’re changing anything. We’re going to play physical, as we have played every other week this season. We want to finish. We want to be sound. If we play our game, play the way we’re coached to play, execute the game plan, those are the keys to success against a good Miami front.”

Are all of our top RBs healthy? Hope so. And if they are, I hope that our OC gives our O line the chance to show what they can do. And please keep our play calling imaginative!

Looking forward to an exciting game!

Duke offense needs to exploit Miami’s defensive aggressiveness. Turn a strength into a weakness. Balance is always key so we must run and pass even though Miami is strong against the run.

Defense must pressure TVD into mistakes and create turnovers.

This is a winnable game!

I think this Duke team can handle Miami on the road. Limit the penalties, good secondary play with some pressure on their QB, and good play calling will go a long way in Duke coming home with a win. Oh, no injuries.

GoDuke!
